    Food Reduce Animal Products
In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

I think Americans specifically eat a lot of meat because we have a mentality that we can do whatever we want. We feel pretty entitled, and a lot of that stems from manifest destiny, and the idea that Americans are destined for more. Our culture has evolved over time to expect that whatever we want will always be available. We consume excessively, and that's the American way.

I've noticed that my neighborhood does not do a great job of keeping their trash contained on trash day. We are required to use trash cans, but most people just put their bags out on the curb, and then stray cats and other animals tear into them. I plan to talk to the HOA and the management company to try to improve this situation.

I totally forgot that this started! It's been a crazy couple weeks and I'm getting ready to move. This challenge is reminding me to make sure the bulbs in the new place are LED and to check out the shower and toilets to see if they are low-flow!
