REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and Cities Go by BikeHow does using human-powered transportation make you feel compared to using other methods of transportation?
Andrea Amoruso 4/16/2019 7:54 PMThe use of human-powered transport, without a doubt makes me feel freer, stronger and certainly gives me the strength to think that even at my age I can make certain efforts without tiring me so much. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Andrea Amoruso 4/13/2019 6:21 AMSurely eating too much meat or just meat contributes exclusively to a bad health consequence, especially the red meat that is certainly carcinogenic and the rest of the meats are excellent wagons for cholesterol. Unfortunately, in North America, the hectic, stressful life and being super busy every day drives people to consume meat-based fast foods. Cooking vegetables definitely takes a lot of time and no longer cooks at home. But the problem with meat comes mainly from the farms. Question: do the Eskimos also suffer from cholesterol and cancer like here? -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Fix Leaky FaucetsWhat are other easy and low-cost ways to reduce your water usage at home?
Andrea Amoruso 4/13/2019 6:05 AMBy attach low-flow faucet aerators to your kitchen and bathroom faucets, you’ll save up to $80 per year on utility bills. If you turn the sink off while you brush your teeth or scrub your hands, you’ll save even more!

REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Properly Dispose of RefrigerantsHow do you address your own feelings of concern, fear or despair about climate change?
Andrea Amoruso 4/12/2019 4:31 AMClimate change is a problem that is now a reality that generates only serious concerns. This feeling must above all make the human brains remain lucid in order to find a serious solution. The Powerful Gentlemen will have to know how to evaluate the ways to be able to reduce the factors that produce the consequence of climate change. I agree with progress, with business, with professional and economic relationship, but I am really worried about the future that awaits us with this climate change. I address this feeling of concern by not giving up on spreading messages of encouragement and hope so that some solution to this serious problem can be found. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Andrea Amoruso 4/11/2019 6:37 PMThe expiration date is certainly the key part of the purchase. This allows you to establish by when to consume the product and / or how long it can be stored. I take my decision when it is specifically indicated when the product expires, ie "use by". -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Use Muscle PowerHow do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?
Andrea Amoruso 4/10/2019 8:29 PMNormally my main mode of transportation is my private car. Of course I unfortunately contribute to the daily pollution in my community. With the arrival of good weather I decided to use my bike on the home-work route. In this way, surely the pollution, my personal one, is lacking, and also surely it is more fun to go by bike: meet friends, people, feel more free. (We hope, however, that it doesn't rain on the way back)-

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn More about SilvopastureHad you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Andrea Amoruso 4/04/2019 8:54 AMEvery living being has its own natural biological cycle, dictated by the seasons, so they have biological time for their natural development and maturation. This does not happen in greenhouses and intensive farms. Therefore consequently the nutritional values of silvopasture products are far superior and efficient than those cultivated or artificially raised.
