  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Improve a Bus Stop
How can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:49 PM
I can advocate for them because even though they have minimal impact on the environment there still is an impact. If humans are being satisfied then these transportations can be justified
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Use Public Transit
How has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:46 PM
The fact that transportation was so easy with cars, buses, etc, made it easier for me to take these transportations
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Stay on the Ground
What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:43 PM
I can decide not to travel as much because I don't really like traveling anyway.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Try Carpooling
List some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:42 PM
I go to this restaurant a lot every weekend called Darby'O Gills. I always carpool with my friends when I go there.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Use Muscle Power
How do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:36 PM
My trips to class are more enjoyable because I can walk with my friend ava and we listen to music. Also the campus is beautiful so it is fun
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Transport Research and Advocate for High-Speed Rail
What are the factors that influence your choice of transportation? These can include things like money, time, and convenience, as well as perceptions of danger or safety. What would need to change for you to regularly choose more climate-friendly options?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:35 PM
I did not have enough money and I also wanted to exercise and walk more
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:35 PM
The R's make me feel good because whenever I see people doing any of these R's it is clear that they care about the environment and are doing their best to make an impact.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Properly Dispose of Refrigerants
How do you address your own feelings of concern, fear or despair about climate change?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:33 PM
I am honestly worried about our environment because one day down the road humanity will regret what we have done to this world and we won't be able to do anything by that point
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Fix Leaky Faucets
What are other easy and low-cost ways to reduce your water usage at home?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:33 PM
One way is to turn off the tap water while brushing my teeth
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Use Plant Trees
How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

    Alexis Bane's avatar
    Alexis Bane 5/13/2019 3:32 PM
It's good because trees benefit everything. They provide so much for this world and they just calm people down.
