    When researching my last car, I talked to friends and colleagues about the looking at electric and hybrid cars, and some of the benefits.

    I use disposable coffee cups sometimes, but I am trying to remember to bring my reusable coffee mugs whenever possible.

      I have noticed that Beaverton is putting curb cuts in all the residential neighborhoods on the south side of town. I'm grateful that they are making the sidewalks walkable for people of all abilities.

    I grew up in the midwest. Whenever I drove to college or a weekend away, I saw farmland for miles and miles. The recent extreme weather and flooding are extremely concerning for the future of our food supplies.

    I learned that the "use by" and "Best if used by" dates are chosen by stores and manufacturers and are not the same as the actual expiration date. Good info!
