We have been going for daily walks, using the buses to get around Ecuador and eating locally sourced food, have also eliminated meat from our diet.
Would like to see these challenges be an ongoing thing forever!

Kasia our diet is lots of fresh veggies and fruits which are easily locally sourced in the different towns we are staying in. Most of the places where we are have cooking facilities so we are making a lot of our own meals, mostly veggie stir fry’s and soups. I don’t eat a lot of meat so it was no problem giving it up and I don’t like the look of the meat here in Ecuador!

Wow, great work Lynda!  What is your diet like in Ecuador? Was it hard to eliminate meat?
I too would like to see the challenge continue... I suppose the next stage is to keep it going when it's done :)

Every 2 days or so we are going into the local markets to shop for our veggies and fruit. There are many local people selling their home grown fruit and veggies along the roadside. We are also getting to try many fruits that we had not even seen before.
Shopping in Banos yesterday saying no to many plastic bags for our items. 💕💕💕

I am in Ecuador, trying not to use plastic bottles! In the place where we are now for 4 weeks we are able to compost! We are using our own bags for shopping, we have been putting out glass bottles for the locals to return for money. A win win for all. Love to all!
