REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn More about SilvopastureHad you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?
Abigail C 4/05/2019 8:59 AMNo, I don't think that I had heard of it before. But now that I know what it is, i think it could prove useful for animal life, in addition to a grazing ground for wildlife, birds and small mammals could live in the trees, use them for food, and develop ecosystems. You could knock out two problems at one, methane production and endangerment of certain species. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Keep Track of Wasted FoodAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?
Abigail C 4/05/2019 8:42 AMWe could, I don't know, do anything! Sure you could plant trees, donate the money to organizations, or invest in studies on vaccines. But nearly anything is better than just throwing the money down the drain! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Share Bioplastic Disposal TipsWhat concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.
Abigail C 4/05/2019 8:37 AMIn all the post-apocalypse movies that I've seen, the makers seem to drop hints about how we brought it upon ourselves. What if all the pollution, global warming, and holes in the ozone layer lead us to a reality like that? -
Abigail C 4/05/2019 8:29 AMKayla, are you serious? You have to at least post an inspirational song quote or a link. (let me find one and I'll post it later.-
