Making your home more energy efficient helps the environment, and your wallet. A homeowner can save significant amounts of money by reducing their energy usage and making their home more efficient. An energy efficient home can also effectively maintain moderate temperatures, low humidity, and increased air quality.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

By eating smaller portions, people are much more likely to not overeat, and they will be healthier in the process.

I think affluence contributes to people in North America eating more meat than other countries. This characterizes the North American attitude regarding excess and materialism.
