We value working smart to everyone's benefit and the virtual meetings option is often viable re: our needs. Quality interactions are possible in an online environment.

How do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?

When I'm walking or biking, I gain greater clarity in my thinking and also get lots of new ideas. Walking and biking allows me to take in smaller details, makes me appreciate my community more and feel greater pride of place. I also am able to beautify my community while walking by picking up litter.

Are bamboo alternatives readily available in your community? If not, what are other sustainable alternatives?

I'm not sure what's available in my community re: bamboo products. I will check Whole Foods for a bamboo toothbrush and will buy bamboo cutting boards and other housewares when I can. I will look to switch to bamboo disposable cutlery. I might need to get that online!

It is not too difficult - it just takes time to do the research and locate the right products. Also, they cost a little more, but it's worth it.
