  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Recycle Everything I Can
How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

I feel like I am able to reuse and repurpose a lot of stuff just around my house and in my room. I always like finding another use for something, so that way I know that its not going to waste.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

It is just such a waste, and it feels like its ungrateful, to have all of this perfectly good food, and just throw it away. I'm sure my family wastes food that could still be used. We have a struggling garden, and the compost could definitely be used to help it out. (found a top for the bin, but it's not in this picture.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Generation Learn More about Micro Wind
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

They could be installed in a lot of places, you could put them on higher, buildings, or even on houses in higher elevations, like in the mountains. They would help out, and be able to provide clean energy to a lot of people. They could be used in lower income houses, to help with the electricity bills.
