My family had a great time planting 100 Shortleaf Pines! We enjoyed working together on a project that helps restore the forest and that we will be able to watch evolve for many years to come.

Shortleaf Pines are the only pine native to Missouri. We ordered the seedlings from the Missouri Department of Conservation which offers a wide range of native trees and shrubs for super low prices. The bundle of 100 trees only cost $22! Orders for next spring can be placed beginning Sept 1st. Check it out! https://mdc.mo.gov/trees-plants/tree-seedlings/order-seedlings
