REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Generation Explore Other Electricity Generation SolutionsWhat is the most exciting solution you explored? Why is it exciting to you?
Suzanne Haerther 4/23/2019 6:53 AMI'm excited about the potential of Solarize programs and using the power of bulk purchasing to further drive down the prices. We are getting to the point where it is cheaper to do solar than other options. We just need to convince some of our legislators to help those that can't afford it to find options. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and Girls Connect With A NonprofitWhat are the most pressing issues for women and girls in your community?
Suzanne Haerther 4/11/2019 3:34 PMI did not realize that Atlanta is the "Sex Trafficking Capital of the U.S." This came up at a program about global sustainability at the Center for Civil and Human Rights. The wonderful women who spoke focused on the issues of women and their strengths. I started discussions about our Women in Green program taking a deeper dive than just the discussion and will be looking at the next step. Looking forward to continuing the conversation. -
Suzanne Haerther 4/01/2019 12:52 PMI am so excited to start this challenge. There are so many people that say "what I do doesn't make a difference". I feel like this proves them all wrong. This will be my third time participating and I feel like I get better every time. I'm excited to meet my challenges!!
