The most exciting solution still has to be nuclear energy. Perhaps I'm just biased, but I've always been fascinated that we can split atoms to produce energy.

Curiosity, the mars rover, currently has a plutonium reactor on board to power it. This shows how nuclear can be used in relation to space travel. And its a small bit of plutonium too.

Not only that, but nuclear is used in some medical treatments and x rays, so it's a multipurpose tool

Here are my trash, recycling, and compost logs for the week. I counted tissues, which made everything seem like a lot more. This is only my waste and not my family's

    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Definitely health benefits. One would eat less calories and less bad foods. Monitary benefits because less food is used, which costs less and one can make more meals from leftovers

Fun Fact: Responsible fish keeping helps keep certain fish species from going extinct. This is the case with certain species of Vieja cichlid. But irresponsible fish keeping has led to a number of invasive species. Don't dump unwanted fish into random ponds
