    We live in a throw away culture by and large. Plastic covers everything,, though changes are afoot. We need to vote with members into congress that are not beholden to unsustainable corporate practices and invest in companies that score high on the sustainable rubric.

    Lowering my carbon footprint with the goal of giving back to the grid. Also, they appear to be more cost effective and better ROI.

    Recycle everything else as well. Subscribe to e-mailing lists and e-biling whenever possible. Cancel mail order catalogues and coupons.

    By improving our home's efficiency we need less fuel to heat our homes and use less electricity to power them. This lowers our carbon footprint, an important value for our family.
