in order to reduce the usage of plastic bag in grocery store, which way do you think is more effective? 1. Reward: some store ( e.g. Target) will take off 5 cents from your total bill. or 2. Penalty: for each plastic bag you use, charge you 5 cents, which is type of tax that will go to local city. Let me know what you think.

I like that they take 5 cents off, but I think it will take charging people the 5 cents to get people motivated to bring their own bags

I think it will encourage individuals to bring reusable bags if they take off 5 cents. I know I would. Those are great options though.

P&G plans to sell reuse consumer product ( e.g. you can bring your empty shampoo bottle to refill in retail stores), would you consider using it?

some people told me that everyday little things ( RRRRR) would not help much with our environment, but I really don't agree. We should at least try, right?!

You are so correct. If we try, we won't know if it work or not. If we do nothing, we will never know.

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

Meant to share a vegan chili recipe: https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2012/01/best-vegetarian-bean-chile-recipe.html

I am allergic to beef, so this recipe really helps me enjoy chili without beef or just any meat.

How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
