REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and Girls Give a MicroloanGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?
Lorie Long 4/23/2019 6:13 PMI supported 2 new loans through Kiva. One was a group of women making clothing and another a woman going to school. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn More about Regenerative AgricultureClean air, clean water and healthy food are three reasons to care about regenerative agriculture. What are some other reasons?
Lorie Long 4/23/2019 6:11 PMDidn't really even know this term. It is another reason to support local, organic farms through CSAs or farmers' markets. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterials Recycle Everything I CanHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Lorie Long 4/23/2019 6:09 PMI focus primarily on reducing. Each change we make is a little bit tough at first but then before we know it we don't miss it. About 13 or 14 years ago I decided to stop using paper towels. For a month or so, it was hard. Now, we never even think about it.
