REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Stephanie Meikle 4/08/2019 11:21 AMEating meat for every meal was the norm for me growing up in the United States. The food pyramid was taught at all my schools when I was younger and I always believed it was healthy to eat that much meat. I think this reflects the over consumption of our culture and how want has replaced need within the United States. North American values the individualistic way of life, which I think lends to us not thinking about the consequences of our actions, like what happens when we consume too much!
