My family is trying to reduce our plastic use.  Almost all of our food from Trader Joe's comes in plastic.  We've decided to try to reuse plastic containers that aren't meant to be reused.  We'll still be using plastic, but we'll be using less plastic.

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

People in North America eat more meat because people have in the past and it's a cultural thing.  Also, we have the resources and infrastructure for it to be possible.  We live in excess, thinking only of the present, not the future.
