By eating palm oil products, I am encouraging deforestation from trees that harvest palm oil in places such as Indonesia. Avoid all palm oil products would be how I resolve the issue.

They protect the organisms within the ground by not tilling. By the organisms from the ground not dying, there are no carbon emissions.

    Food Learn More about Silvopasture
Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

    Joe Rider's avatar
    Joe Rider 4/22/2019 7:16 PM
I had heard of it before but now understand it better. I think silvopasture's greatest advantage is that it makes things co-exist thus it seems like there are not too many sacrifices that need to be made, unlike other methods on drawdown.

I have told Senator Booker that I am tired of the Earth being doomed to suffer, and that if he wants to be President he should follow the footsteps of Theodore Roosevelt.

Food going bad (besides compostable food) is the only reason I can think to throw out food. However, there is no excuse to let food go bad, or especially throw out food that is still perfectly alright, so I simply eat everything I serve myself in the college cafe.
