I am so grateful to you, Heather, for organizing and leading our team. I've really valued this opportunity and look forward to joining again if there's a challenge we want to take up as a team again this fall!

If you have access to Netflix, check out their original series called "Our Planet." Absolutely amazing photography - stunning! and also very important information about the impact of climate change on our planet and all the beings on it. Let me know what you think.

Hello wonderful CVU and CxU and friends team! Just a heads' up on something I found out today: you can only go back 4 days before today's date to update any actions you've taken. I let my check in between reporting go too long and missed reporting some things I did. So, I'm putting a repeating note into my agenda to go in every few days to report my actions. It's amazing how quickly 10 days can go by! Have a good week.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

When I eat smaller portions I also am mindful of how much I actually need to maintain a healthy weight. As we age, our metabolism slows down and we don't need as many calories as we use to.

This Sunday, I hope some of you will share a joy or concern from your experiences doing this challenge. I'll let people know that this is a different approach to joys and concerns this week - regular joys and concerns will also be welcome. Think about what you might like to share!
