We are a field based office our HQ is in Rockville and we always have different types of meetings via Skype or WebEx and believe me we've made some big decisions, we've been sharing knowledge from one to another, doing trainings and all that. Is super fun and educational because it gave you the opportunity to share your knowledge, experience and your culture with one country or co-workers that are miles away from you.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Women and Girls Support Women-Owned Businesses
Globally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. How can you better support communities by supporting women? Can you share any past experiences that may help others take action?

Here in El Salvador we recently had been seen a lot of women with a lot of empowerment that are receiving help from different ONG's giving them courses to do from beauty products to jewelry that are absolutely beautiful. The way we can help them is by buying without bargaining because that product or service that they offer is TIME, is MONEY, is LOVE and DEDICATION.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

Other benefit can be for my body, my nutrition and my health since I only eat portions that are exactly what my body needs and I don't overeat.

List some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

    1. Work
    2. Grocery Stores
    3. Malls
    4. Salon
    5. Spa
    6. Home
    7. English Academy
We leave near to each other so almost everyday we give a lift to each other, or if we're going to another place like a Spa or a Grocery Store we leave them near to a bus station or where they can take a cab or an Uber with other people.
