This challenge made me reassess my methods and habits of getting around, which are primarily walking, supplemented by bike, electric bike, an occasional bus ride and a rare car share.  After researching alternative methods of transportation, I decided not to change a thing.
What was originally a self centered decision to get rid of a burdensome car, I'm proud to say, turned me into a good transportation citizen for Mother Earth.
Here's hoping everyone is able to squeeze a little win from their actions.  It goes a long way to motivate in these dark times.

I live in an apartment building in Seattle.  Myself and my neighbors could work with the building owners to install a rain barrel.  The water collected in the barrel could be used to water the building landscaping.
