Going zero waste is hard, but it's not impossible! I found watching this video on attempting to make Apple Pie with as little waste as possible. I hope others can take the time to enjoy this video with me.

How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

Recycling was just implemented at the complex I currently live, so I can finally take the time to properly recycle. It's great to reduce the amt that I'm disposing at the dump, and I'm able to reduce the size of my waste can, so I can work on limiting how much waste I'm disposing.

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

People eat more meat in the U.S. because 1.) It's cheaper comparatively than other countries. 2.) This industry makes a lot of money and invest in advertisements that make carbs seem bad (when they aren't necessarily). 3.) People generally prefer the flavor of meat. I don't think this says something about Americans and their values, so much as what it says about commercialism.
