REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Erin San Antonio 4/13/2019 11:05 PMTo me, the obsession that North America has with overconsumption, contributes to us eating more meat than any other country. This also carries out in regards to how easily accessible is meat (ie food chains/fast food places) and the accessibility to healthy eating in regards to people's socioeconomic status. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social Justice Improve a Bus StopHow can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?
Erin San Antonio 4/09/2019 11:34 PMI had picked up all of the trash around three bus stops that are nearby my work. It was for bus line 2 and 72 on 82nd. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransport Try CarpoolingList some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?
Erin San Antonio 4/09/2019 11:33 PMI have been carpooling every day to work, school, and running errands with my partner in order to reduce my carbon emissions. To add, I have been walking to nearby places and picking up my food instead of driving to pick it up or having delivery cars like ubereats, postmates, door dash, etc.
