I'm super happy to say this challenge is working really well for me!  I've been diligently keeping my food waste diary, and the shame of having my waste posted in my kitchen has really encouraged me to waste less!  I've been using my leftovers and planning my meals based on what I HAVE instead of what I 'feel like' which has resulted in less food going bad as well!  woot woot!

An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

Meat is cheap and accessible in North America; the true costs are hidden by our political and economic systems.
