You know work gets busy and forget to log every day.  Life can be a challenge even when you try.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Keep Track of Wasted Food

Found I waste some food in Refrigerator, but eat most of what I serve.  Mom was picky about us eating all we took.  Also have 4 sisters and a brother--food was gone if you didn't eat around our house.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Smaller Portions
Fun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?

As a diabetic, it is beneficial to eat smaller portions more frequently thru the day to balance out blood sugars.  It also helps with weigh loss.

Up and at the world today!  Looking into how to compost effectively. Always wanted to do this.  Maybe this is the little push that I needed to get that done. Have a great day
