I am focusing on coffee, cocoa/chocolate/palm oil to start, which will require some investigation when I make choices.  The soy that feeds livestock is maybe a bigger problem and will require more major changes for me.

Challenge continues to go well! Brett and I are going to listen to a podcast tonight about individual action on climate change vs. need for higher level actions (state, national, industry level etc). We biked 35 miles yesterday to pick up something in Healdsburg rather than drive there.

The challenge is going well! I have been traveling last week so wasn't able to complete all my daily challenges as easily, but now I am back home and focusing on zero-waste cooking, meatless meals (most of my meals), biking, and researching further carbon-saving activities. Onwards!

Hey team! We are going to be gone for a few days and won't be able to document our eco challenge progress. I don't know about you, but I'm having fun with this. Thanks for the idea Laney!

Excited to get Day 1 started with some food waste reduction and meatless meals! I am at a conference so some of the other challenges are outside my control, but I look forward to biking every day that I can once I am done conferencing.

It's pretty cool learning about microloans. I loaned $25 to a mother in Kenya who wants to improve her cereal business so that she can afford to send her kids to school.
