There are definitely physical health benefits, such as less bloating and constipation. I believe there are also positive mental affects. You feel less sluggish and more fueled to take on the day, instead of feeling too full and guilty.

Meat is considered much more convenient to cook and "tastier" than vegetarian and vegan food, which is considered equivalent to eating grass. North American lives are very fast paced and much more work oriented than other countries, so we feel the need to go for the easiest option, even if it's not the healthiest.

Started my own garden last year (dad has been doing one for the past 8 years) and this is my second year doing so! Will be sourcing the fresh local food and also supplying my neighbors with it as well. Benefiting the local food system!

I think improving our daily routine to depend on less water will help my region be more resilient like being mindful of the actual amount of water being utilized and not utilized. Daily routine water usage is key as well as finding ways to reuse water like capturing for gardening and washing your vehicle.
