Throwing garbage and oil products into the sewer drainage systems- it goes directly into our bays and oceans.  Factories that  in the past have dumped chemical byproducts into our streams. Chemicals, fertilizers and bug/crabgrass killers overused on our lawns and farms, all go into our water. This affects our drinking water and the life in our...

I believe that it was once considered that you were "well off" or "doing well" if you were able to provide meat on a daily basis for your family.  My dad was a meat and potatoes man, and we grew up that way. My motivation for doing this challenge is basically for my grandchildren.  I want a better, safer, and cleaner world for them to live in the future.  Plus it feels good to know you have some control over the environment, even if the government does not feel the same.
