    Thanks, Woodstock Transition and Woodstock Library, for getting us started on this EcoChallenge. It's been fun, informative and inspirational! It feels as though I've formed and/or enhanced some good eco habits during the 21 days.

    I have no idea how to pursue some of these goals. How do I make micro loans? How do I become a master recycler? Goals are very nice but not much use without pointers toward information.

    The low price of meat, whose production externalizes costs, pollutes, and horrifically mistreats animals is one contributor. This factor combined with the relative wealth of North Americans goes a long way toward explaining the ranking at the top of the list of meat eating.
