yes last year at my middle school my teacher tried to teach us about it but never really got around to fully explaining it. i was amazed at how poorer less modern countries use them to power their homes and cook their meals.

create pathways so that water doesn't go to waste it can just go back into the grown to either make plants grow or grass or whatever. i can also pick out trash and sticks of a stream like the one i have at home. plant flowers around the stream to make it more noticeable.

On a mental state it can help me see how iv'e grown over the years as i experience it grow. physically it can produce more oxygen for the environment while producing fruit at home. And spiritually it can be a shade for me on hot summer days were i can go and relax or meditate.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

The hours of labor, my grandfather Santiago used to be a daily farmer with his 12 sons and everyday in Mexico they would work. Blazing heat would dry out the environment where he lived in and his business would drop. til today he no longer official farms but still at 84 years of age takes time everyday to tend to his flock of sheep. he takes so much time to produce meat for his friends and the natives of the Guantanamo mountain range.
