"To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded"

Freeman Andrea 4/24/2019 4:58 PMI am so excited my kids were discussing how we need to take more of an active role in protecting our planet bc of something I had sent them the day before by email. That led to discussions on things I’ve already learned and plan to continue to pursue. It’s so great to see my kids digesting what is happening to our world and how we can have an impact one human life at a time. -
Freeman Andrea 4/23/2019 3:14 PMGoing to learn to compost! 😆 -
Freeman Andrea 4/16/2019 9:31 AMDid you know that the fish we eat has particles of plastic in it bc that’s what they are eating and engulfed with in their environment?!-
MARIA ALBULESCU 4/17/2019 4:21 AMI watched "A Plastic Ocean" film the other day and saw that. So sad! Wildlife is eating and dying because of plastics, we eat plastics...There's plastic everywhere.

Freeman Andrea 4/16/2019 9:29 AMWe have been successfully preventing a great deal of food waste in our home with leftover night and just being creative on different ways to use produce before it goes bad. It’s great to raise this awareness with my children now so they start thinking about it for their today and future.-

Freeman Andrea 4/10/2019 4:24 PMWe are making leftover nights a routine in our home to reduce the food waste.-
Freeman Andrea 4/11/2019 6:55 PM@Maria- it really is just getting used to it and once you do it’s easy. As a kid growing up we always had leftover nights. Not to mention I have done whole 30 and it’s the same getting used to eating vegetables at breakfast but now I love it! -
