REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
La'a Anthony 4/22/2019 7:16 PMI read an article on National Geographic (Here's the link if anyone's interested: https://www.nationalgeographic.com/magazine/2019/04/to-build-cities-of-the-future-stop-driving-cars/). It looked at a variety of case studies, from Copenhagen to Portland to the problems of Silicon Valley to Kunming. The article focused a lot on the problems with sprawl which creates the "disconnected environment" that forces people to use cars. -
La'a Anthony 4/15/2019 12:46 PMWe pretty much only walked and took public transportation in Europe, and I've been thinking about how to do this more now that I'm back to my regular life. -
