What would a sustainable water future in your region look like? What needs to change?

    Ana A 4/05/2019 5:06 PM
A sustainable water future in my region would look very nice and liquidy. There would be the freshest and purest of freshwater lakes and rivers. What needs to change is water pollution.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What are other easy and low-cost ways to reduce your water usage at home?

    Ana A's avatar
    Ana A 4/05/2019 6:02 AM
One way to reduce water usage at home is to turn the water off when brushing your teeth. Another way is to try not to take hour long showers.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Land Use Learn about Temperate Forests
As you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?

    Ana A's avatar
    Ana A 4/05/2019 5:58 AM
These forests are in danger. We need to stop our bad actions to save these forests from doom. The parts that feel overwhelming are that we are hurting the environment so much. I feel hopeful since there are lots of people that are helping the environment.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Use Public Transit
How has your access to various kinds of transporation throughout your life influenced your current attitudes about transportation and your transportation behavior?

    Ana A's avatar
    Ana A 4/05/2019 5:45 AM
I have been travelling on a public bus since I was six. Although buses are pretty cool, I like transporting in cars better.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Zero-waste Cooking
How are environmental issues like black carbon and other emissions from cooking fires or rudimentary cookstoves also human health and social justice issues? Why do these issues matter to you?

    Ana A's avatar
    Ana A 4/05/2019 5:40 AM
Lots of carbon dioxide from coal being used to cook is a large contribution to global warming. These issues matter to me because I am a human living on Earth, and I would like to live on the Earth for a while.
