    Food Reduce Animal Products
In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

I believe that we eat meat because we were brought up to do so.  It is a habit based upon the belief that meat is part of a balanced diet.  When I plan a meal, it starts with a decision about what the main course (meat) will be.  When I go to the supermarket, one of the featured areas is the meat department.  This further encourages the ideas I was brought up with (and then taught my kids).  This is really the first time I have made an attempt to reduce the amount of meat I eat.
