REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationHow can micro energy solutions reduce inequities? Why is this important to you?
Amanda Beibers 4/24/2019 10:53 AMFirst off- once again you can help by donating as little as $25
I think solar, wind, and hydro power are the best ways to make change. I personally have changed how I pay for my electricity by choosing wind power. It is smart and helping reduce my energy bill. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and CitiesChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! What's next for you?

REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social JusticeIn what other ways could you help girls overcome health barriers to being able to attend school?
Amanda Beibers 4/23/2019 5:44 PMFirst off- you can donate as little as $25...we all should be donating!! I believe in giving of our time- research local agencies and help locally get our girls attending school. I've volunteered for many years a s a "Big Sister" but we have Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the metro area. This is a good start at helping girls at risk. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and GirlsGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?
Amanda Beibers 4/22/2019 5:49 PMEverything is subject to opinion but I know first hand that all my "extra" funds monthly go to my adult children as they need it and my granddaughters education- I believe it is because we "women" typically have more of the nurture/caregiver demeanor. It lends to our giving nature so giving more freely is inherent than our male counterpart. -
Amanda Beibers 4/22/2019 3:19 PMIt was an amazing weekend- planted flowers, walked through the nature trails with a co-worker, and enjoyed learning all about activities in our area for Earth Day!!
