How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?

This is an area for me where there's a lot of room for improvement, whether it's reducing the amount of new clothing I purchase or attempting to repair household items instead of immediately replacing them, etc. It's a little intimidating, and embarrassing, to think about how much I can improve, but feels doable and important to make the effort.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food
An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

I now know which information is relevant to me and what it means in regard to the safety and quality of food items; when shopping, cooking, and cleaning out the fridge.
