REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Betsy Bickel 4/24/2019 9:54 AMMost of these are suggestions about when the quality will be best. The only item that should be thrown out after these dates is infant formula. All else can be used if it looks and smells fine. The terminlogy is arbitrary and there is no legal requirement to use one or another except in the case of infant formula. -
Betsy Bickel 4/20/2019 6:52 PMI planted 6 tomato plants I got at the Farmer's Market today. Hoping they get enough sun this year! I have volunteer collards and dock from previous years. I let the collards go to flower in the hopes they will spread and take over the yard. -
