REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodDependable fresh food, supporting local farmers and building resilient communities are just a few benefits of local food systems. Which of these (or other) advantages inspire you the most?
Clint Bollinger 4/09/2019 8:38 AMWe like supporting local producers, and knowing where our food is sourced. And to be totally honest, it may just be in my head, but it actually tastes better to me. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Clint Bollinger 4/09/2019 8:36 AMI think eating meat is a cultural norm. It is engrained in our culture, and thus we perpetuate that cycle. We also view certain meats as a status symbol. Wanna have a really expensive "fancy" meal, many people think filet mignon, wagyu beef. -
