REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity GenerationEvery dollar you put into solar or wind is a dollar not put into traditional financial institutions. You'll also be bolstering the fossil fuel divestment movement, too. Name some companies you know that invest in green energy. How can you support them?
Renee Bryce 4/24/2019 6:44 AMI looked at the list of companies using green energy--most are tech, which I use every day. There are some large financial institutions but I don't like their other practices so I cannot invest in them. I think supporting local companies is the best way I can support. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWomen and GirlsGlobally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. How can you better support communities by supporting women? Can you share any past experiences that may help others take action?
Renee Bryce 4/22/2019 6:26 AMI learned that there are logos for women owned businesses that I can use to identify and purchase products/services.
