What was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?

The process was I proposed the idea to my parents when we were going on a vacation.Β  I can avoid more air travel in the future by planing vactions closer to home.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Zero-waste Cooking
How are environmental issues like black carbon and other emissions from cooking fires or rudimentary cookstoves also human health and social justice issues? Why do these issues matter to you?

They are human health issues becuase black carbon and smoke are not good for people and animal's lungs. These issues matter to me because i don't want people or animals to have lung problems.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resourcesβ€”seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

Seeds motivates me the most because if you just throw away anything they don't get a chance to be used again. Seeds especaily because they could be replanted.Β
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Learn the Truth About Expiration Dates
How does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?

It helps me to make better decisions because before I would throw something out ifΒ  it was past the use by, sell by, or best by date. Now I can make better decisions.Β

  • This has been so much fun and I'm sad for it to end but, I can't wait to continue doing them even though the drawdown has ended.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Learn More about Regenerative Agriculture
Clean air, clean water and healthy food are three reasons to care about regenerative agriculture. What are some other reasons?

Another reason to care is the cleaner the air and water is the better animal's habiats will become.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Materials Research Cement Alternatives
Concrete is a good example of a material that most of us encounter every day, but may its carbon footprint is not obvious. What other everyday materials might have a large carbon footprint? How can you find out more?

I think phones may have a large carbon footprint. Also I can find out more objects that might have a large carbon footprint by learning about how CO2 is made and trying to use as little as possible.Β Β
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transport Improve a Bus Stop
How can you advocate for transportation systems which minimize environmental impact while also meeting human needs?

I can do that by showing people how planting flowers makes a bus stop just as pretty as anything made from wood.
