    we are 41 out of 900 something, not that we're competitive or anything ... :). Ecochallenge makes us think about what we do day to day that might help or hinder our Mother's health

    anything with palm oil will likely be implicated in rainforest destruction. I avoid it whenever possible by avoiding processed foods and reading labels.

    I've been active in environment, green politics, community based health promotion, indigenous rights and so on for many years. It's great to have this vehicle to bring so many people from so many sectors together around a common project.

    I joined the challenge because Andrea said to and I wanted to be part of the team :) Also - it is important to become self-aware of our ecological footprint and how greedy we are with the earth's capacity to regenerate.  Overconsumption is the biggest challenge

    no connections to a farm but a backyard vegetable patch and connection to urban farmers/ community gardens like Naagmaagit-Ki group and Foodshare
