Trees soften the landscape, move with the wind, provide perches for birds, shade for the earth and a sense of another living being.  Planting trees requires physical strength and once done, a sense of accomplishment.

In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

People in America eat more meat because it is abundant and because the media is relentless in pushing food at consumers.  Food photography is everywhere, all around us wherever we look.  North Americans are susceptible to advertising.  All humans are susceptible to temptation and pretty things.  We value form over substance and live without regard for others.
