Khellmar Daring 4/12/2019 7:41 AMThe most important thing I believe I did was consume a plant rich diet. This solution could be pretty impactful as a lot of the emissions we put into our atmosphere come from food. According to an article on Green Biz by Pete Pearson "food waste represents 4.4 billion tons of annual greenhouse gas emissions" and according to CSS 47.6% of that is from meat. So if we were to cut down on the amount of meat we ate we would severely impact the amount of emissions due to food in a good way of course.-
Mr McNally 4/12/2019 10:00 AMThanks for the posting OJ. If food waste is 4.4 billion tons of GHG emissions how much of the total emissions does this represent? Since these are massive numbers, that will help put these data into perspective.
