REFLECTION QUESTIONAction Track: Social JusticeWhy is it important that girls have equal access to education in order to reduce our global greenhouse gas emissions?
Emma DelGandio 4/08/2019 9:25 AMIt is important that every gender has the same education to help them do better in life. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Emma DelGandio 4/08/2019 8:59 AMI use plastic straws in almost all of my drinks. I could replace them with paper straws or reusable straws or I could just not use any straws. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportWhat was your process like for restructuring your trip? How can you avoid more air travel in the future?
Emma DelGandio 4/05/2019 9:28 AMMy sister did it for me for the trip when we go to Texas. In the future when we go on vacation I will ask to drive or take a train.-
Regine Drosos 4/05/2019 5:42 PMMy Aunt use to take a train when she would travel, and she would pay an extra fee to put her car on so that she didn't have to rent a car where ever she would go. Something to consider.

REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Emma DelGandio 4/05/2019 9:27 AMI like using the "R's" because it helps the environment. Recycling helps keep animals safe and it also saves things to reuse for other people that might not be able to afford drinks or other plastic things. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodFun fact: Your brain and stomach register feelings of fullness after about 20 minutes of eating. While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come out of eating smaller portions?
Emma DelGandio 4/05/2019 9:24 AMEating smaller portions could also help the environment because they take up less room in the garbage so other things fit and you would use less plates and then you wouldn't have to buy new plates all the time. -
Emma DelGandio 4/04/2019 9:26 AMI am excited to be doing this challenge because I think if enough people do it it really could help the economy!
