Electricity Generation Learn More about Micro Wind
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

They could be used on the top of buildings. They could also be used in the mountains in desolate areas. You could even have one on your property if you have at least one acre of land.

As you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? What are the parts that feel overwhelming? What parts help you feel hopeful?

?:As you learn more about the scope and seriousness of the environmental challenges we face, what impact does that have on your thinking and actions? This makes me think about what I am doing, thinking, and buying. I am realizing that I can make a change one organic product at a time, one vegan meal at a time.
?: What are the parts that feel overwhelming? I think that the most overwhelming thing is that we have so much to do. We have destroyed the earth so badly.
?: What parts help you feel hopeful? That more and more people are being educated on this subject. The more people that are aware of what’s happening, the more change we can make.

Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

I have not heard of silvopasture until today. I think that this is a great idea and this should be implemented more than it is. This is also much more aesthetically pleasing

What concerns you the most about how we are affecting the planet? Consider both local and global actions.

I think that the thing that concerns me the most about the planet is still the lack of recognition and action in the US specifically. Some places have started to take a stance towards a brighter future and I really respect it. We are doing nothing. We should get rid of plastic bags first, and then we need to find easy ways to reduce non-recyclable plastics in our lives. We as a community try to work with the government, but they aren’t doing half as much as we are.
