We just installed solar - so it is very new to us - its fun to watch the dashboard over the day to see how much energy we are producing and for the CO2 emissions we avoided.  So far we have produced a lot more than we have used.

Kind of bummed out to know that some of my favorite products contain palm oil.

We have started bringing bags with us on our evening walks and picking up all the garbage along the way.
Cleaning up the bus stop was a start and we decided to keep it going.
Too bad there is NO category for this.

We replaced all our thermostats with SMART ones that we can control over our phones.

This allows us to turn on the heat or the AC just prior to arriving home.

We installed Daikin units in each room.
We only heat or cool the rooms we are using.
      I highly recommend them.

How cool! I can't wait to do this when we move to a new place this summer. I read a perspective on how Americans heat their homes, and it really can be like killing a fly with a bulldozer in many cases. We don't need to heat our furniture and every room in the house while we're sleeping or out during the day!

I've looked into these smart thermostats also - but since I can only control heat. It may not be worth the investment... I have 2 separate systems.
