REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings and CitiesWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Bridgette Favale 4/11/2019 8:35 AMTaking a walk for 7 mins a day should be an easy task to complete while I travel from class to class at Seton Hall. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONMaterialsHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle? How does considering implementing these "R's" make you feel?
Bridgette Favale 4/11/2019 7:59 AMThe EcoChallenge has inspired me to monitor not only my recycling habits, but the habits of the friends I eat and spend my time with. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodIn your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?
Bridgette Favale 4/11/2019 7:58 AMLearning about the harmful effects of cooking red meat on the planet has inspired me to cut out as much of the product as possible. I have found it easy to create a diet based of of plants and white meat in place of the other meat. -
Bridgette Favale 4/10/2019 8:51 PMToday, April 10, 2019, I wasted minimal food--only having a few pieces of lettuce left on my plate after eating a salad for dinner. -
Bridgette Favale 4/10/2019 8:50 PMToday, April 10, 2019, I chose to eat a small salad in the school cafeteria for dinner instead of eating a bigger portion that I would not finish. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFoodAn average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?
Bridgette Favale 4/09/2019 6:58 PMToday, April 9, 2019, I tracked the amount of food I was eating and made sure to take less portions to ensure that I would finish all of the products on my plate and avoid waste. -
Bridgette Favale 3/28/2019 8:29 AMTaking Intro to Environmental Studies inspired me to become greener and protect my planet while I still can. While being involved with this class, I've learned about small changes I can incorporate into my daily actions that keep the environment clean and safe. I hope to inspire my friends on my journey to protect the planet and spread the impact to a wider range of individuals.
