In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

Meat is much cheaper than fruits and vegetables. I feel that a lot of America has adopted a meat reliant diet simply because of the ease and accessibility. The amount of different meals you can make with meat far surpasses the things you can do with vegetables.
