    Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

    I was familiar with the concept but had not heard the specific name "silvopasture."  Additional benefits to orchards used as silvopasture would be weed control by the grazing animals and fertilization of the tree crop by the animal manure.

    Developing countries have the chance to develop in an environmentally friendly way.  Unlike developed countries where we are trying to correct the mistakes, developing countries can get it right from the beginning.  Micro energy solutions will allow them to do this, but generating the energy they need locally rather than creating vast grids that rely on energy sources that pollute and destroy the environment.
