I love the subway in NYC and other big cities, where it just works and driving is not a realistic option... Seattle just has a long way to go, its still faster to go by car to a lot of locations. My last job, I could drive there in 30 minutes or take the bus for 60+ minutes. Its hard to commit to that extra time. Once Seattle hits the point with bus frequency and accessibility I think we will see more usage. In fact I think we are starting to for many locations.

    Food Reduce Animal Products
In your opinion, what contributes to people in North America eating more meat than any other countries? What does this say about North American values and ways of living?

Accessibility and habit. If there were more mainstream foods that were meat free I think that would be great, and not the fake meat type of meat free, but menu items that are free of meat and delicious that way. There are so many possibilities, they just aren't main stream yet...

Bike commuting makes me feel great! Combining my commute time with exercise is a win-win and I get to experience so many great things that I would not see from my car! Smelling Theo Chocolate roasting, seeing/hearing the crew shells and boats going through the locks. Love it!

    Food Learn More about Silvopasture
Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

Silvopasture is such a great way to maximize the yield on a piece of land, as well as keep it healthy and diverse. Also a great time saver for the farmer who can check on multiple crops at once. Need to research more ways to support/advocate for this type of farming.

Biking to work is such a great way to see your city from a different perspective AND get the benefit of a workout during your commute time. A win win!
